This new team services their offering to UK government - a four year contract to buy all their media. This offering is underpinned by partnering with government to ensure all the media investment across varied departments and campaigns drives effectiveness of their end objective - whether that be delivering awareness of a new policy, changing perceptions and long-term behaviours, or recruiting for services and the armed forces.

The role of the effectiveness team is pivotal in making this happen, evaluating performance across every brief, turning data into actionable insight, sharing and codifying learning to improve outcomes.

As an Effectiveness Manager within this team, you will capture a range of qualitative and quantitative media channel, audience and digital campaign data to allow for deeper analysis across departments, with the opportunity to work with analysts and the wider effectiveness team to uncover new ways to both optimise media at a granular level, as well as find macro level learnings across campaign outcomes, audiences, or themes.

With a solid understanding of the comms and media landscape and a holistic approach, you will be comfortable using a variety of data and research to report and advise. Adept at client facing, a key skill will be your ability to make data and knowledge accessible for stakeholders.

From a data, research or planning background, you will be happy to work across channels, agencies and clients. Previous exposure to government/public sector would be an advantage but certainly not essential, more important will be your interest in making a real difference to the issues faced in our society.
