Our client is a fast growing insight-led strategic advisory firm dedicated to putting public and stakeholder opinion at the heart of their clients' thinking. Their research methodologies span all qualitative and quantitative techniques (qual led), and they have a diverse client base across the private, public and third sectors. With a pre-eminent hands-on senior team with expertise across strategic communications, political research, brand development and consumer engagement, they have always lead the way on consultation type research and their continued success means they are seeking to hire researchers across all levels of the business.
As a Research Director you will be responsible for ensuring the story and implications for clients, you will find your own ways to build networks and relationships, whether through sector specialism, building your own profile, growing and extending strong relationships with existing clients, or a combination thereof. You will lead the standard in proposal writing and hold ultimate responsibility for delivery on projects. RDs are the trusted point of contact for the senior client. Highly visible on their projects, and engaged in design, fieldwork, and analysis, RDs ensure projects are profitable, and that they genuinely deliver for clients.
Internally, RDs work together to run the company’s teams. They have strong oversight of the development targets of team members, and support them to meet those targets. Commercially astute, RDs are also responsible for the financial performance of the team, managing their client P&L for their projects and driving growth to meet revenue targets. RDs typically line manage the ADs and RLs in their team.
We seek qual led researchers, with a good amount of agency experience running end to end bespoke projects. Financial services knowledge would be of interest but not essential, or other specific sector knowledge will also be considered.
