A rare and intriguing opportunity to be based in the UK but focus all of your attention on the fascinating and exponentially growing African markets. Our client seeks a quant researcher passionate about brands to join their team dedicated to these dynamic markets. This role will push the boundaries of your innovative output and you will enjoy an intimate relationship with a global brand that appreciates an open dialogue and challenging ideas.
As this is a small team, your role will stretch across the business including project and client management. You will predominantly work on the key account, instrumental in running a brand health tracking study in 10 African markets, which is hugely important for the client’s brand strategy across the region. There are also increasing opportunities to deliver ad-hoc work to answer specific needs outside of the major study.
Comfortable with quantitative research processes, you will have considerable responsibility for client servicing on both continuous and ad hoc work, as well as people management and project commercial management. Having said that, you will have a committed team and senior directors with wide ranging and invaluable knowledge of this region to support you and as part of a leading market information company, there is a secure commercial environment behind you. While your major client is local enough to enjoy a close working relationship, there will be opportunities to travel around the region (about three or four times per year for one week).
