A rare and intriguing opportunity to be based in the UK but to focus your attention on the fascinating and exponentially growing African markets. Our client seeks a quant researcher passionate about brands to join their team dedicated to these dynamic markets. This role will push the boundaries of your innovative output and you will enjoy a partnership relationship with a global brand that appreciates open dialogue and challenging ideas.
As this is a small team, your role will stretch across the business including project and client management. You will predominantly work on a key account, instrumental in running a brand health tracking study in 10 African markets, which is hugely important for the client’s brand strategy for a large and varied portfolio across the region. There are also increasing opportunities to deliver ad-hoc work to answer specific needs outside of the major study. While your major client is local enough to enjoy a close working relationship, there will be opportunities to travel around the region (about two or three times per year for one week).
Comfortable with quantitative research processes, you will have considerable responsibility for client servicing on both continuous and ad hoc work, as well as people management and project commercial management. You will have a committed team and senior directors with wide ranging and invaluable knowledge of this region to support you and as part of a market leading global insights business, there is a secure commercial environment behind you.
