Working with this bright and engaged group of social researchers who have expertise in research, evaluation and behavioural insights, this would be a progressive career step for someone who is passionate about a career in this space.

They work with a wide range of public services clients, including social housing providers, health agencies, local authorities, charities and voluntary sector organisations, as well as central government departments.

They love nothing more than doing work that has a real and virtuous purpose. They genuinely seek to make the world a better place and don’t really do research that just sells more stuff. As you would expect they look for people with a strong moral and ethical compass and expect their team to have opinions and express themselves. They are super flexible about work patterns and are keen on some office time to build out their culture and unify the team ethos through their people. However they want the right person and if you need to work remotely then they are open to that.

You may be a social researcher already or currently be operating in a commercial setting and looking to transition to public/third sector research.

Most important is your passions and motivations for being a researcher. You will act as a project lead on qualitative projects from design, conducting fieldwork, analysing and reporting and you should be able to demonstrate strong strategic thinking and a creativity in bringing insights to life. Naturally at this level you will be confident managing client relationships and advising and supporting clients based on a detailed understanding of their needs and willingness to go above and beyond. You will be comfortable with writing winning proposals and converting opportunity into new business or account growth.
