We seek a sharp, enthusiastic and driven cultural analyst who is passionate about brands and culture to join their team
Commercially savvy and genuinely excited about brands, advertising and design, you’ll be inclined to instinctively make connections between brands and broader culture. You’ll relish the opportunity of working in an agency which really gets to grips with its clients’ brands, working with their business challenges both strategically and creatively to use insight to help guide and inspire positioning, innovation, pack design and visual identity evaluation, language and comms analysis.
The ideal candidates will have some experience that must include semiotics or language analysis in a cultural insight context or will have engaged with semiotics working in insight at a brand consultancy, qual research agency, advertising, or marketing services company on international projects with a cultural focus. This is for someone who has the bug of decoding culture and applying their semiotics eye over brands marketing output and who wants deepen their specialisation.
You will be expected to take the lead on projects and you must relish the challenges of client services and help teams deliver and be happy forging great working relationships with your leadership team as well as your reports.
We’re looking for analysts with strong brand understanding as well as academic qualifications in critical theory, languages, anthropology, sociology, art history/visual theory or similar – who will have engaged with semiotics in one or more of these contexts.
