Fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for something new and exciting! Our client originated in Asia, have developed into Europe and are now looking to set up in the UK. They already work and have clients here but want to expand and develop formally by taking on a new person to be the ‘face’ in the UK.

They specialise in the luxury and premium brand space and have an amazing list of clients across beauty & cosmetics, automotive, alcohol, retail and jewellery. Top end designer brands that everyone would love to own. The work itself is conducted with high net worth people; they have built up a very strong community/panel and do a variety of custom research in the space. They also have a side product which clients subscribe to, to enable them to tap into continuously updated data.

The role itself is quite unique and can be partly built around your skills, experience and desires. The essential part is that it is a client facing role. To put is simply you would be the face of the company; having meetings with clients, wining and dining in luxurious surroundings such as hotels, restaurants and exclusive clubs. It is a commercially focussed role where a lot of the relationships are already in place so it is about fostering, developing and building on those relationships and naturally obtaining new ones will be in everyone’s interest.

They are very open on your background. You will need to have had some exposure to the insights world this could have come from the research & Insights or a closely related industry such as planning or consultancy. You may be a sales or business developer in this world. All backgrounds could work because they have a strong team in place to do the work and even have proposals ready and waiting to be adapted to the client/project need. You don’t even have to come up with solutions on the spot, it could be that you discuss, take the brief and then go back to the team to work out what is required.

I mentioned the role could somewhat be built around you. What I mean by this is if you are a researcher and want to be involved in the analysis, presentations or more then that is absolutely something you could do as long as you understand that client relationships and developing them  is top of the list of priorities.
