Newly created role to help develop a major government initiative to launch a nationwide consumer dashboard. You will lead the analysis for the programme’s business cases, including to inform costs, benefits, critical success factors and evaluation strategy. Support the programme to develop its proposition based on robust evidence and promote the work of the programme.
This role will be drawing on varied data and information, conducting varied analyses, using quantitative modelling, forecasting and estimation techniques. The initial priority will be to analyse a variety of industry and government data to support business cases. Working collaboratively across the organisation and other government depts. To identify the benefits and scope of the programme. You will identify and undertake modelling work to estimate volumes of users, costs, service level agreements etc.
You will also be working with programme partners to develop critical success factors and an evaluation strategy that is consistent across different delivery partners and contribute to ensuring that the programme is based on robust evidence, that any gaps are identified and recommend how they can be filled.
We seek an Economics, statistics or similar graduate with experience in a similar role working with Government data, in particular developing analysis for business cases in line with HMT Green Book guidance.
This role is part of a small team and so there is plenty of variety and diversity around the core work. Strategic thinkers with the ability to deal with ambiguity, forecast, think creatively and communicate findings are all core to this role. The key tool will be excel.
