This a newly created and highly varied role, created in reaction to a new strategic focus for the business, where research and insights are becoming more instrumental in helping the business grow its offer. You will join an insights team which acts as the professional centre of excellence for primary market & opinion research as well as delivering insights across the whole business. The team’s remit is to provide a research and insight consultancy, deliver primary strategic, high-profile and tactical research programmes. This role will support the Senior Insight Manager to run and deliver hands on research projects which inform and promote a really broad range of teams across the business including strategic, communication, brand, product and service development agenda & activities. It’s a highly varied role, but with a focus on delivering research surveys to multiple stakeholders.
The main responsibility of the role is to help deliver primary market & opinion research and insights that enhance reputation and improve the quality of key decision-making, and to promote the relevant research outputs.
Key responsibilities include: • Provide support to the Senior Insight Manager in the delivery of primary market & opinion research and insight studies that provide our client with actionable insights or content that can be used to raise its profile or its members • Help ensure the quality and accuracy of all material delivered by the Insight Team. • Take responsibility where necessary to ensure delivery of market & opinion research and insight projects • Help develop internal relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers • Support the Senior Insight Manager in championing the Insight function, and expanding the influence of the Insight team through the development of content and outputs which add value and insight • Help the Strategic Insight Manager embed Market Research & Insight to enhance the quality and effectiveness of research and safeguard its integrity.
We are looking for an experienced market research professional with quantitative primary market research essential. Gained either from a research agency • Quantitative research experience essential (survey design, analysis and reporting), on-line survey design, qualitative research experience desirable but not essential. • Strong information analysis skills and attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present data/information in an accessible way. • Able to work independently and as a team player. Experience in effectively running multiple projects at any one time, multi-tasking and prioritising, ensuring all projects are completed to both budget (where available) and deadline
This is brilliant opportunity to step up from Exec or move across from Senior Exec and get exposure across a real variety of projects. There will be opportunity to grow and develop in this role and become integral to the business. You will have the chance to develop your own skills as well as keeping a real variety and breadth of projects. Much of the research is created in-house with a survey tool and so you can remain as a hands on researcher while developing insights and see the impact of your findings.
