Digital Advertising organisation seeks an experienced Research Manager to work as part of a collaborative and hands-on research and measurement team working across a range of projects.

Our client is a small team but very influential and far reaching within the UK digital advertising market.  

We seek a Research Manager with senior-level experience to join the Research and Measurement team on a fixed-term contract. The team’s role is to provide stakeholders and partners with world class data, analysis and insight. As a core member of the Research and Measurement team, the Research Manager (senior) will lead and deliver projects rooted in robust insight, ensuring that all research aligns with our overall mission. This involves commissioning research, analysis of data, presenting insights to relevant audiences, and managing key external stakeholder relationships. This role would support the Head of Research and Measurement, taking on senior leadership responsibilities where necessary and would involve line management duties. This is a fixed term contract for 12-14 months (possibility more).

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 years’ market research experience, some of which will ideally be working in advertising, digital or media.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head of Research & Measurement in planning and leading the research portfolio for 2022 and 2023
  • Leading and delivering key measurement projects – including a flagship quant survey
  • Commissioning and managing bespoke research and measurement projects that support strategy and annual plans
  • Presenting research results

Skills, knowledge and characteristics

  • Experience of managing research projects from commissioning to delivering results
  • Track record of delivering well-respected research and measurement projects
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and capable of working under minimal supervision
  • Capable of delivering at pace, working to tight deadlines and managing key client relationships
  • Good understanding of digital advertising measurement landscape and challenges is highly desirable
  • Skilled communicator and presenter, able to easily summarise complex issues in an engaging way
  • Line management desirable
