Opportunity for an established government statistician to join a well-regarded arm's-length government body, working in the financial industry in an established research and analysis team. This role requires 2 days per month in the Office in the Northern Home Counties
Day-to-day you will:
- Analyse and interpret data from both internal surveys
- Apply expert knowledge in statistical and data-modelling techniques to support strategic decisions and policy making.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams and analysts across the organisation.
- Provide support for ad-hoc research and data-related requests.
What You’ll Bring
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and experience in interpreting and analysing survey data.
- Proficiency in statistical and data-modelling tools and techniques, such as survey sampling, weighting, imputation, regression analysis, and more.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical analysis and findings to a non-technical audience effectively.
- A degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, or significant experience in research and data analysis.
